Connect your custom email address to Gmail for free!

Anytime you register a domain with us, we provide email addresses for you to use with that custom domain! You can then connect any email software to your custom email addresses to receive and send emails from that address.

In this guide, we show you how to connect your custom email address to your existing Gmail account.

When you compose a new message, you can then choose to send from your Gmail address or from your custom email address. If you receive an email at your custom email address, Gmail will automatically reply from that email.

Receiving emails into your Gmail address.

  1. Open your Gmail settings by clicking the gear icon on the top-right corner and then selecting “See all settings.”
  2. Click on the “Accounts and Import” tab.
  3. In the “Check mail from other accounts” section, click on “Add a mail account.” This should open a pop-up dialog.
  4. Type in your custom email address and press “Next.”
  5. Select “Import emails from my other account (POP3)” and press “Next.”
  6. Enter the username, password, and POP server settings we provided to you.
  7. Make sure to select “Leave a copy of retrieved message on the server” and “Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail.” The other 2 options are optional.
  8. Click “Add Account” to finish the process.

Sending emails from your Gmail address.

  1. Open your Gmail settings by clicking the gear icon on the top-right corner and then selecting “See all settings.”
  2. Click on the “Accounts and Import” tab.
  3. In the “Send mail as” section, click on “Add a mail account.”
  4. In the pop-up dialog box, type in your name and your custom email address, which we provide to you.
  5. Check “Treat as an alias.” and click “Next Step.”
  6. Enter the SMTP server, username and password we provided to you.
  7. Choose the Secured connection method that Gmail recommends, unless we mention otherwise.
  8. Click “Add Account” to finish the process.

Ta-da!

Now, all emails you receive to your custom email address will be available in your Gmail inbox. If you chose to label your emails, or filter it differently, those settings will be active.

When you reply to an email to your custom email address, it will show as sent from that address. The recipient never finds out your personal Gmail address!
